Remodeling Services with a Personal Touch
So, you're ready to remodel and you don't know where to start. We want to take your dreams and lifestyle and work with you to achieve your vision. The one thing to consider about your remodel is that it takes place within the home you are currently living in; therefore, Vail Builders, Inc. prides itself on being considerate to you and your family during your remodel. We strive to keep the dust to a minimum by closing off areas that are not part of the remodel and we clean up the job site at the end of every day.
We will work with you starting at the design process so that we understand your wants and needs. To help you achieve your vision, keep a list of wants and needs as well as pictures, swatches, color schemes, etc. Our first meeting will be at your home so that we can see what you currently have, what you are looking to have done as well as talk about any structural information we would need to consider in order to provide you with an estimate. A second meeting will happen so that our subcontractors can do a walk through to get the necessary information they need to provide us with their bid. You don't need to be present for that meeting; however, we would need access to your home. Once we have all of the bids from our material suppliers and subcontractors, we will put together a very detailed estimate of your project. We will sit down with you and go through the bid so that you understand what your bid entails.
Once the Remodeling Contract has been signed we can begin on your project. We will strive to meet the project finish date, but sometimes things come up that will delay the project. The one thing to keep in mind when remodeling, is that we don't know what's behind the walls. Also keep in mind that as the homeowner, if you make additions or changes to the project that were not part of the original bid that will add time to the project.
At Vail Builders Inc, we believe that communication is the key to a successful project! Once demolition is completed, we will have weekly meetings at the job site and do a walk through and talk about what has taken place as well as what is scheduled for the upcoming weeks ahead. We find that once the remodel is under way, the meetings are a great tool for both the homeowner and the contractor. It's a time to talk about changes, timelines for selections, the project schedule, etc.

We wanted to create a unique deck. We went back to Jim Vail who had done such an awesome job with our kitchen renovation several years ago.
